AFC LEOPARDS LAUNCH NEW KIT AFC Leopards Sports Club have revealed their new kit for the 2015 season. The home kit is predominantly the original Rio Tinto which has the white and blue horizontal stripes. The new kit will be worn for the first time during the opening day of the Kenyan Premier League season. The club also unveiled the new away kit. The red and black shirt with black shorts was unveiled together with the home kit and track suit at a function held today in Nairobi. The goalkeeper shirt is predominantly orange and black. AFC Leopards captain Martin Imbalambala showed his delight at the new strip and said that this was the best way to start the year after the recent problems that faced the club. Imbalambala said: I love the look of this kit, for me it stands out and the away kit is also amazing.’ In line with the latest models, the “V” neck collar is designed for freedom of movement and comfort. They are embroidered to suit all weather conditions and allow freedom of movement. Egde will supply the kit together with other sports equipment to the club for the next two years. The ksh 3 Million deal which was signed last year is the first of its own in the country with the club set to benefit directly from the sale of genuine replicas through the Edge Sports Apparel franchise. Fans can buy the kits at all Naivas Supermarkets and the Nairobi Sports House. Both the home and away kits retail at Kshs 2,500 and Kshs 2000 for children ware. More sale outlets will be communicated with time. Edge plan to roll out more outdoor and indoor sports and casual outfits with Ingwe brand that will suit all persons across the board.
