Have we forgotten the way Gambia’s police intervention unit, the National intelligence agency, state guards and ministry of interior massacred 57 African immigrants in Bato Kunku and other parts of the environs of Brufut? Lest we want to forget how Lauren Gbagbo’s killer machine which was being managed by Ble Goude targeted and systematically crushed the scalps of immigrants with bricks right in the center of Abidjan! How about the 26 Gambian youths who were enslaved, beaten, slaughtered and burnt by Libyan security personnel last month or so? In Pretoria South Africa soon after apartheid ended South Africans were seen rushing towards their fellow Africans from other parts of the continent with clubs, machetes, spears, bows and arrows in one incident they threw a Senegalese right in front of a moving train and he was crushed or shredded into pieces! Et pourtant! those Africans they were beating and killing in Pretoria assisted them when they needed it most. I personally attended the same boarding school with South Africans some of whom were from Nambia! Gambia lodged, fed, clothed and protected them! Do you remember the bloody demonstrations in Conakry when Musa Dadis Camara ordered his security personnel to treat demonstrators including immigrants in the most inhumane way one can ever imagine? We also know about the way Ghanaians in certain of their country despise foreigners and kill them with no remorse attached. How about Nigerians versus non Nigerians in Nigeria itself? In Central African Republic worse things are taking place as we speak. Blacks killing blacks, sister killing sister, brother killing brother, kin killing kin yet still we have the nerve and the guts to attack police or people in the west for maltreating blacks in FERGUSSON MISOURI? We are our own mirror! It is showing us how we act, say and think about one another within our own continent. Some ask if we are cursed? The answer is Africa has 30% of the world’s mineral resources buried within. There are more Chinese than any other race on earth but we have more natural resources when the whole world is combined.
