AFTER A STORMY NIGHT, SCATTERED STORMS STILL EXPECTED FOR NEXT FEW DAYS Todays weather is brought to you by Lee Company Intense lightning, heavy rain, gusty winds, and isolated pockets of hail impacted Middle Tennessee last night and also early this morning. Isolated additional thunderstorms are still possible today, but it will not be a washout. The chance of an afternoon storm is around 40%. Some of the storms could be severe. The warmth continues with afternoon highs in the middle to upper 80s as sunshine returns. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible tonight but the chance looks reasonably slim. Much of the same Friday, with isolated thunderstorms possible, primarily in the afternoon heat (again, around 40% chance in any one spot) when temperatures return to the upper 80s. Well heat back up to the low 90s this weekend. Saturdays storm chance is only 20% but it rebounds to 40% on Sunday as a cool front approaches from the west.
