AFTER THE LOST, LIFE CONTINUES Yesterday, I adjourned a very important meeting to show solidarity to the Super Eagles. Though I was a bit late to look for the nearby place to watch the match and the best option that was available was Ibom Plaza, Uyo. Immediately I approached the vicinity, there was an atmosphere of celebration signifying that Super Eagles have scored a goal at the early stage of the match. Well, the first forty five minutes gone, there was no goal but the Super Eagles lost 2 goals to the French team and we were disappointed. Yes, that is the beauty of the game. In football at that stage, it is either you win or you lost and we lost. There is no big deal but what matters is after the lost, what else? Like the game of football, many of us have lost in the battle of life. We couldnt secure that promising job. We were not given that appointment. We didnt won that big contract. We didnt succeeded in that relationship. And then does what? Existence continues and we must continue to make more attempts in the battles of life. If you havent succeeded on four good attempts like the Super Eagles, that doesnt mean that you are synonymous with failures. It is not true. You may put many efforts and attempts to succeed in life but fate give you the other side of the coin. Dont kill yourself. Celebrate yourself against all odds. Determine to put another attempt and who knows, you may be next in line for a celebration. That is the packages of life and it is according to our choices. So make the right choice today and success is yours.
