AHHH, BEWARE THE IDES OF MARCH!! We have been so proud (and pride goes before a fall) and so happy, and then last weekend--Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday (okay, a loooong weekend), we broke another record--A BAD ONE! During that time 50, yep, FIFTY, animals were brought in to the Shelter. There was a litter of 7 pups with eyes barely open--probably two weeks--and no momma. (They are now in foster care.) Some were left in the drop pens, some sad owner surrender, but many were brought in by people who found them running or animals control officers patrolling. And, too many times, no one comes to see if their lost pet, especially cats, are here. Our slogan is we find em, feed em, fix em and and find em forever homes, but we are gonna need more help--not just financial, but more people to foster and more willing to add just one more kid to the family. And, speaking of finances, it is only a week until the $10,000 cash party. Got your ticket?
