AIEEE- The All India Engineering/ Pharmacy/Architecture Entrance Exam All India Engineering/Pharmacy/Architecture Entrance Exam (AIEEE) access students on their subject knowledge and scale them according to their eligibility level for admission into undergraduate engineering and architecture courses conducted by several institutes throughout the country. AIEEE exams are conducted in both English and Hindi languages. Annually, around 8-9 lakhs candidates appear for the AIEEE examination and compete for 17,163 seats for BE or B.Tech programs and 759 seats for B.Arch or B.Planning programs in technical institutes, National Institute of Technology, Deemed Universities, and other Government –funded institutes. Organized by the CBSE and Department of Secondary and Higher Education of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), AIEEE is conducted to overcome the problem of multiplicity of entrance examinations and regulate the professional admission standards of different institutions. Applicants for AIEEE receive an All India Rank (AIR) and a State Rank (SR). Benefits of the AIEEE Examination AIEEE is an entrance exam conducted for educational institutions offering degree level courses in ArchAIEEE is an entrance exam conducted for educational institutions offering degree level courses in Architecture, Engineering and Pharmacy but are not covered by Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) or state level entrance examination (SLEE). Students are admitted to both paid and unpaid seats in these courses, depending on their ranking in the merit list.
