Our Popular In-Home PreSchool & Kindergarten Program is now interviewing for Teachers and Assistants. We are seeking Teachers who can teach Mornings 9am-12pm and/or afternoons 12:30pm-3:30pm. ~Must be at least 21 years of age. ~Montessori, Reggio, and/or Waldorf Experience/Knowledge is Desired, but not mandatory. ~Clean background. Prefer if you have already been Live Scanned/Clean DOJ ~Live Scan Required. (At Own Expense) ~Must be physically and mentally able to perform ALL aspects of the job. You must be able to squat, bend, run, jump, and lift up to 40lbs and other physically demanding activities, as required. ~Must be able to obtain a TB test and clearance to work with children from your doctor (At own expense) ~Must have flexibility within your schedules availability. ~Teachers must have verifiable experience and genuinely LOVE teaching and working with children aged 3-6. Teachers must absolutely know how to TEACH young students and MANAGE a small class of up to 12 with assistance, and up to a smaller group of 8 without assistance. Answers to Head Teacher. ~Head Teacher must know how to lead and administrate over teachers/aids, and manage an entire early childhood program. Answers to Program Director. ~Aids must have a working knowledge of young children and be comfortable with following instructions. Answers to Teacher, Head Teacher and Program Director. ~Must be Extremely Patient ~Must have a very POSITIVE attitude ~Must be Extremely Customer-Service Oriented ~Must be able to work independently, work with a team, follow instructions, work well under pressure ~Must be able to confidently and efficiently lead and manage a class of young children ~Must able to follow, plan and implement curriculum ~Must be able to enthusiastically and positively engage children in purposeful learning ~Must be willing to clean, and change soiled children ~Must be willing to help prepare snacks, keep the learning environment safe, clean and orderly ~Must be reliable, honest, trust worthy; have common sense and excellent supervision skills ~Must have reliable transportation ~Must have or be willing to obtain First-Aid/CPR clearance at your own expense (within 30 days of hire) ~Must be willing to wear company-supplied uniform during work and work related events ~Must be professional in your approach to working with children and families on and off the job ~Must be willing to follow all company and State rules regarding licensed childcare facilities ~Early Childhood Education units and/or college degree is required for Head Teachers Position, but not required for assistants. ~Bi-lingual is desired, but NOT required. ~Must be willing to perform other duties related to the education and care of children as needed. ~Must be willing to learn what you do not know. ~Must reside within 20 minutes of Tracy to be considered. Tracy residents and those with ECE units and classroom experience will be given priority consideration.
