***ALERT*** I would like to announce that, thanks to your tips and complaints, agents with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit recently charged two, in separate incidents, on drug charges. Ricky Devon Hill, 37, of Mulberry Street, NW in Shallotte was arrested on 12/23/2014 after a lengthy investigation and was charged with two counts of trafficking heroin and possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver heroin. Approximately 300 bindles of heroin were seized from his residence during a search warrant. Hill was processed into the Brunswick County Detention Facility where he remains under a $50,000 bond. Tammy Isenhour Moore, 57, of Carol Street in Shallotte, was arrested on 12/30/2014 during a traffic stop and charged with two counts of trafficking heroin, conspiracy to sell or deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture, selling and delivering a Schedule II controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Two pill bottles containing 81 Oxymorphone tablets were seized from the vehicle as a result of the arrest. Moore was booked into the Brunswick County Detention Facility where she remains under a $100,000 bond. Both arrests are the result of community tips and complaints.
