ALL OUT FOR JESUS DEVOTIONAL SATURDAY JULY 5 ARE YOU GROWING? 2 Thessalonians 1:3 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth; The apostle was so happy to note that the Thessalonian church was growing. This growth was in faith and love toward each other. Hallelujah. Today we a more concerned with numerical growth of our churches. While it is good for a church to grow in numbers, we must grow together and not grow apart. We must grow owning what we are doing for the Lord. May I ask you a question on a personal note? Are you growing in faith and love? Are you deeper in faith and conviction? Do you love the church and souls in it? Do you love your Pastor enough to genuinely care for him in terms of his welfare and supporting him in the work? I didn’t ask you to think of someone and say this message is for him or her. It is personal question to you. Are you growing in faith and love for the Lord? Do you feel a sense of ownership for the church you attend and its evangelistic work? Then you are growing. Meditate on these and say a prayer. What will be your prayer?
