ALMERIA & GRANADA GROUP WEATHER UPDATE Thursday 23rd October 2014: Good morning folks......Well, for starters those temperatures may just feel slightly subdued compared to yesterdays heat but they will still feel hot in places. However, we have commenced a downward trend and by the weekend it could be time to break out the cardigans for the ladies amongst you particularly if your inland!!!......We are expecting a slight bounce back upwards with those temperatures for Monday/Tuesday but they will drop back again to even lower levels as we approach the beginning of November!!!.......The news though is that the sun remains in all its glory today, yes a chance of cloudlets BUT WATCH FOR WINDS!!!.....Its probably going to be drafty along the coast at times and this could translate up some inland passes and across mountain tops!!!......That sun, I am pleased to report, will remain with us to at least the end of the month and possibly through to the 3rd or even the 4th of November if the forecast weather pattern continues to slow!!!....But a change remains visible on the medium range weather charts so dont think it will be all plain sailing this winter!!!......I yet again remind you all about that wild fire risk that continues to rise and further remind you all that here in this group we do not follow twitter and post up tweets on such events. On the EiA it is very much up to you members to post if you see a fire or hear of one, if you can!!!........There is nothing to gain by us here at the EiA posting up a fire if you members are not affected.......It saves me and the Jos (our moderators) just talking to ourselves!!!......However, if a member does post up that they have a fire near them it would be of benefit if other members join in, help, monitor other channels and post over info on the specific event if you have the time!!!.....And that could be said for any emergency situation as your input may just help and could possibly save a life one day!!!.......Thats what this group is all about; passing valuable information amongst ourselves and that is why its so important to spread the word about this group and invite in new members.....the more people, the better the quality of the info and the safer it is for all concerned.....THERES SAFETY IN NUMBERS!!!.....And finally, another early reminder that the clocks change this Sunday and go forward!!!......or is that back???........No, its forward......Hang on a mo, I am sure its back........yes, its defo back an hour........at least I think it is!!!.......So have a great day in the sun and enjoy the evening light as its going to get darker come Sunday!!!......or is that lighter???..........Jim Fraser for the EiALERT NETWORK......well, I think this is the EiAlert Network!!! :)
