AN ANNOUNCEMENT FROM DEACON STEVE SKIFFINGTON! TRINITY CATHEDRAL HOSTS STREET EUCHARIST AT SACRAMENTO PRIDE PARADE SATURDAY, JUNE 15, 2013 10 am at 3rd & O Streets ALL are welcome. The service will celebrate our solidarity as a LGBTQ community, honor all who have made our victories possible and give us strength for the challenges ahead. Dean Brian Baker and newly-ordained deacon Steve Skiffington, the first openly gay deacon in the Episcopal Diocese of Northern California, will officiate at this simple, brief ceremony, open to all. The Sacramento Buddhist Meditation Group will provide meditative music during communion. Regardless of your relationship (or lack thereof!) with a faith community, you are FAMILY and you are invited!
