AN APOLOGY AND A SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT When I had the vision to create this movement with Antonio Eons D Gardner nearly three years ago, I had a deep passion for Christian hip-hop. I was traveling around the country, performing in front of thousands of people and sharing the stage with artists like Andy Mineo, Thisl and K-Drama. I put out two projects that received national radio exposure and hundreds of thousands of plays, and even got the attention of a Grammy award-winning producer from Atlantic Records. I was regularly featured on major Christian hip-hop media outlets and was a regular contributor to DaSouth. I came very close to being signed on to a major label (some of you may know about that). I received constant Eminem comparisons, and several critics and reviewers considered me to be among the top three lyricists of the entire genre. Everything was going awesomely, and I was living out everything I had dreamed to do as an artist. A lot of you guys were excited by the movement I was helping to spearhead in Louisville, and you jumped on board. But I quit. And I let a lot of you guys down. For that, I apologize. I did it mostly for financial reasons. Even though I made thousands of dollars as an artist, I wasnt able to support my family through it. I realized that to become everything an artist needs to be at the next level, including marketing, promo, media, interviews, and everything else it takes, I needed to invest my entire life into it. Financially, that wasnt quite possible. So I stopped. But something has changed. Im coming back. Ive recently had a paradigm shift. Im dreaming huge. Instead of making income through the traditional means of trading hours for dollars, Im doing it another way. A better way. Im engaging in a business opportunity that pays me tax benefits for buying nutrition, allows me to have the time and flexibility I need to invest into my craft, and is providing an income potential far beyond the traditional workplace. I never thought my dream of having time and money to become the artist I feel I can still become would ever come true. Now, it is. And Im not going to let you guys down this time. Im asking you to join me in this business opportunity. There is so much talent in this group, and we could make an impact on our city you couldnt imagine… if only we had the time and resources to do it. My business opportunity allows for that possibility! Working for $10, $11 or $12 an hour, 30-40 hours a week, will never allow you to become the artist you want to become, and it will never allow us to build the type of movement we want to build. I fully intend to release many more projects in the next few years. I intend to buy equipment in studio space and promotion that I would have never considered buying in the past, and I intend to make things right with all the people who have been asking me to come back to hip hop. If you want to stay stuck in a job you probably dont enjoy and have no legitimate potential for career advancement, dont listen to this. If you never want our movement to get off the ground and become something incredible in the city and beyond, dont listen to this. But if you want to create a life of freedom, both with time and finances, to allow you to build your craft with me, stick with me.
