AN INSULT TO IJAW YOUTHS As the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) - TopicsExpress

AN INSULT TO IJAW YOUTHS As the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) election once again hit the wave of air, the atmosphere of Ijaw House was electrocuted with great joy for some aspirants whereas for some aspirants it was a sad moment as there manifesto those not reflect the aspiration and Objectives of IYC. Although there was a little tension that almost led to the cancellation of the event as a result of a question that was ask by a comrade Broda to a presidential aspirant Comrade Jonathan Lokpobiri in regard to the money that was giving to him when he was the chairman of central zone, to send some Ijaw youths for a training programme abroad which he did not, in his responses he said the money was been applied for, with his company name and it was awarded to his company and not to Ijaw youths council. In view of this, an aspirant for the post of National Mobilisation officer Comrade Don Jacob KURUBO, who is also an aide to the Gov of Bayelsa State was excited with the question and decided to have a hand shake with the guy that ask the question, one Comrade Saviour Olali who is the present chairman of Central Zone and also the host of all the various zone got angry and approach Don Jacob KURUBO, head boot and injured him on his forehead for just no reason. Those who deny freedom for others deserve it not for themselves However from this scenario it indicate that the likes of Saviour Olali and his cohorts deserve no freedom for themselves. There impunity in IYC will soon be reveal and they are the major causes of IYC crises in the past and such people are suppose to be withdraw from their position. I think INC should not just see it as an insult to the Ijaw Youths but also an act of insubordination to Ijaw peoples. We are calling on a quick reaction on this matter from the INC so it can serve as deterrent to people of such mind. Again I wish IYC a smooth election on Monday.
