ANC KZN URGES COMMUNITIES TO TAKE PART IN BY-ELECTIONS The ANC in KwaZulu-Natal will contest all seven by-elections scheduled for tomorrow, July 2, 2014 in the province. We have fielded candidates who have a long history of community development and who are passionate about service delivery. The ANC takes these by-elections very seriously and we are confident that our people will once again go out in their numbers to vote for the ANC just like they did during the May 7 general elections. We are still humbled by the confidence our people bestowed on the ANC through their overwhelming support in the May 2014 General Elections. “We are very excited that people now have a chance to influence and facilitate changes in their communities. People in these seven wards are very fortunate because they don’t have to wait for the 2016 Local Government Elections before they give the ANC a mandate to better their lives,” says ANC Provincial Secretary Cde Sihle Zikalala. The by-elections will take place as follows: Ward 18, 36, 52 and 73 in eThekwini Municipality Ward 22 in KwaDukuza Municipality, Ward 4 of Endumeni Municipality and Ward 6 of KwaHlabisa Municipality Voting stations will be open from 07h00. The ANC urges communities to go out in their numbers to vote for the ANC.
