ANIL SHOULD STEP DOWN: Candidates for the political leadership of the Congress of the People (COP), Carolyn Seepersad-Bachan and Lincoln Douglas remain firmly of the view that Anil Roberts ought to step down as a minister. Both candidates also indicated that the Prime Minister’s decision to leave Anil Roberts in the Cabinet suggested a lack of respect for the COP as a partner within the coalition.
