ANNOUNCEMENT - Effective 1st JANUARY 2014 – PTGA will not be affiliated with Malaysia Tourist Guides Council (MTGC). Statistics of PTGA members joining MTGC: - Year 2013 : 251 members - Year 2014 : 153 members We have sent in 2 Official Letters (since 24th Sept 2014) to MTGC, stating our reasons but until to-date NO OFFICIAL RESPONSE from them. Therefore during the Dec. 2014 Management meeting, the Committee has agreed that we will input the Official letters into PTGA Webpage for all members information to read and digest all the points. PTGA has expressed clearly and concisely especially the part whereby the members have chosen to have their “PERSONAL CHOICE” of choosing whether to contribute to PCD or not. This is also to avoid the “doubts, gossip…gossip, here-say…cakap banyak and cakap kosong” members around. Therefore, to clear the minds of all these “doubters/ rumour-mongering + foul-mouthed members” as we know that not all people may LOVE us!! As an association given the mandate by the members for a period of 2 years, PTGA has the responsibility to uphold the good name of the association. The current 42nd PTGA Management Board have always abide by our Rules & Regulations and we give top priority to see that our association and PTGA members’ interests are taken care of. All PTGA members are welcome to refer to our webpage ptga.my after 8 pm 1st January 2015. Thank you.
