ANNOUNCEMENT 23 October 2013: We are pleased to announce the appointment of Nicola Winthrop to the position of Head of Strategy & Implementation for Stand Against Slavery. She will be a key person in the Establishment Phase, which could take up much of 2014. Peter Mihaere, General Director NZBMS and concurrent Co-Founder & CEO of Stand Against Slavery, said today of this appointment. Im very excited to have someone like Nicola join the team as we establish this important Baptist Justice Initiative. He went on to say, Stand Against Slavery will not only increase awareness and provide opportunities for Baptist churches and their congregations, but it will also be available for all of New Zealand to be involved.
