The Philippine Society of Parasitology, Inc., is pleased to invite you to its 6th Scientific Meeting at the Yuchengco Seminar Rooms 507-509, De La Salle University, Manila on March 15, 2014 (Saturday). The theme of the Scientific Meeting is “Zooanthropophilic Parasites: How common are they in your community?”. This meeting brings together teachers, students, researchers and health professionals in parasitology and infectious diseases who have interest or those doing research on parasitism in plants, animals and humans with focus on findings in their respective communities. CALL FOR PAPERS Oral and Poster Presentation We encourage oral presentations of findings on parasitism in plants, animals and humans in their respective communities. On-going or recently completed research may be submitted as poster presentations. Undergraduate students may opt to participate in the oral and poster competition. Indicate in the extended abstract (Oral Presentation) and standard abstract (Poster Presentation) the intent to participate. Extended submission on or before February 14, 2014. Oral Presentation: An extended abstract (not more then two pages long, including tables and figures) Poster Presentation: A standard abstract less than 450 words We would highly appreciate submission of entries via email not later than February 14, 2014. Authors will be informed of the acceptance of entries via email on or before February 20, 2014.
