ANNOUNCEMENT!! We are delighted to announce the 3 monstrous and mega gentlemen who will be joining ROADWAY for the upcoming scheduled live shows and performing on the new record due for a winter 2014 release. Standing behind the keys will be Irishman MARK HUNTER, having worked with many of the band playing and recording with Dave Bucket Colwell formerly of BAD COMPANY & Friends and even standing in on keys at a few ROADWAY shows before Mark was the obvious choice to join the band, a ridiculously talented man. Bass and low end duties will be taken up by the RT HON FINLAY CABLE, an extremely talented bass player and backing vocalist Finlay will have the unenviable task of blasting out Iains bass lines as well as laying down new and earth shaking parts on the new material. ...and finally on lead vocals is Highland born Ross Holland. Finding a new vocalist for this band was always going to be a hellish task, as Dougie Greig is very much a unique individual with regards to his composing and vocal talent, so rather than wearing ourselves out trying to find a copycat weve enlisted the services of a man with a very different voice to Dougies, a more classic rock/southern rock voice that represents some of the direction we will be going down with the new record. A very talented chap with a big voice and just as questionable a sense of humour as the rest of us…..but that now makes 3 Ross in the band! Cant wait to get out there and playing for you all!! The band meets up for their first rehearsal at the end of the month in Glasgow and then we have 2 shows in September…see below!
