ANOTHER MOM UPDATE--- LADIES PLEASE READ THIS ONE-- Ends up that Mom did not have a traditional heart attack !! she has Takotsubo cardiomyopathy, also known as broken heart syndrom.. it is most prevalent in WOMEN in their 70s and 80s.. look it up.. i looked at wikipedia for it.. it explains it very well with pictures, causes, prognosis, prevention, treatment, and the difference between this and a normal heart attack.. men can have it too, it just isnt as prevalent.. She is responding very well to treatment and is being moved from ICU today.. if everything goes good, she will be coming home by the end of the week..
