ANSWERING MY BOSS VAL My Boss wants me to dare to say the view of my religion on others. Why he used the word dare is what I cannot fathom. Has he seen or read something different? Let me annihilate some false and few old notions first of all. 1) This religion is not mine neither is it for the any Prophet of God. They (Prophets) were a means of Mercy to mankind! 2) The religion of Islam is not for the Arabs in the world, not for the Northerners in Nigeria and it is not for the Auchi people in Edo state, It is a given way of life for mankind! 3) Allah does not mean the God of the Muslims or the Arabs. It is simply God in Arabic Language. Just like in Auchi we call God ‘’Oghena’’. Allah is The Almighty, The Majesty who is far above having a son or a wife. Nothing is like Him…The Lord of The Universe! 4) A Muslim is one who says it is not is will but the will of The ALMIGHTY (Moses, John, David, Abraham, Zachariah, Mary, Elizabeth, Ezra, Aaron, Elijah, Jesus etc., were all Muslims and followed Islam as we were informed by the Quran). For simplicity sake, by definition, Islam means ‘’the total submission to the will of Allah (God) for peace. To further tell you that Islam is nobody’s but for My Lord and Your Lord (see also in John 20: 16 when Jesus(PBUH) said to MaryMagdalene…your Lord and My Lord) consider this verse from the Quran. Quran 5:3 relates ‘’this day, I have perfected your religion for you, complete my favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion’’. Islam is a universe message. Hence, it is not of a chosen people: Seed of David or Jews or Gentile, black or white. It is for all men and other creatures other than men who have any spiritual responsibility. Since the truth is one, it stays like that. All the Prophets of God came with the same message to believe in The Unseen, worship Him only and alone. Fear Him and know that He is One! As simple as this message, the devil who is the avowed enemy continues to make men do other things. Do know that this simple message was preached by Jesus? He gave warning to those who will not believe in the Oneness of God. This I will discuss in the future by God’s Leave. This simple commandment of Worship, Fear and Believe in the Oneness of God, which encompasses all other commandments continue to cause problems. Men are head-bent to make sure they do and delude people from what the Prophets of God said to us all and even insinuate things by imagination for man of God…If you check very well, this plights are not from the Messengers of God but from those who make false claim, as it turns out all the time, that they either saw vision or were called. God reply them in Quran chapter 2:79, ‘’…Woe to those who write the Book with their hands and say, ‘’this is from Allah’’, to purchase with it a little price (money, fame etc). Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for that they earn (thereby)’’. What the Quran, which means reading, says about other religion is very many. The aspect I will put forward is what is said of them before and after THE QURAN. The other aspects will be discussed with references from the era of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
