*ANYONE LOOKING TO GET INTO CONSTRUCTION, MARION* Certificate II in Civil Construction - MARION When: 6th August - 6th September 2013 This qualification reflects the role of individuals working in an operational role in civil construction, who undertake a prescribed range of tasks using limited practical skills and fundamental knowledge, in a defined context working under supervision. The course is designed to provide new participants with the theoretical and practical skills and knowledge required to work in the civil construction industry. People undertaking this course will learn a range of basic skills including general measurements and calculations, use of hand and power tools, operation of small plant and equipment, spreading and compacting materials and carrying out concrete work.
