He noted that the group is out to build an effective and efficient network for the unity of the state where great sons and daughters of all tribes, culture or language can truly join hands in one accord and support credible aspirants from the national, state and local government levels who will have the interest of the masses at heart. Akpan called on the LGA coordinators to be committed to their duties and remain the good ambassadors of the body, stressing that the formal inauguration of APA marks the appointed time when history will become a reality as well as a time where only the decision of God will come to fruition. Speaking on behalf of the Local Government coordinator, Comrade Umana Umana who is the chapter coordinator of Nsit Ubium LGA charged the entire Akwa Ibom people to place the interest of the State above personal interest and ambitions, maintaining that the state through APA will ensure that the people will not compromise the collective gains or mortgage the peaceful coexistence and future of the state on the altar of narrow selfishness.
