APANO is proud to have supported the Oregon Safe Schools Act in 2009. The 2013 Report is out, revealing that now over 100 of the 197 school districts in Oregon have adopted policies that tell us they are serious about addressing bullying and harassment in schools. While safe schools were not on the ballot this year, we must still dig in and commit to making sure all Oregon schools are safe places where ALL students can learn, thrive, and plan for healthy futures. This was one of the first statewide legislative campaigns APANO worked on in 2009.
