APC will Still Get 13/13, Our Members did well - Nasarawa APC Chairman Arc. Stanley Buba The Nasarawa State All Progressive Congress (APC) Chairman, Arc Stanley Buba has said the party would still target the 13/13 that it aimed for at the LGA elections, he stating that the manipulation the PDP is known for would be unravelled as they head for the tribunals, he said the party lawyers had already started work and before the end of the week they would have put up their cases at the Election Tribunal. He asked all party members that had valuable information to come forward with it to the party. The APC Chairman made this known during his introduction at the expanded stakeholders meeting which was an APC postmortem of the LGA election and work out strategies for the forthcoming APC congresses which had the Party Leader, Governor Umaru Tanko Almakura, Members of House Of Representatives, Members of House of Assembly, party leaders and members from the 13 LGAs and the 6 elected APC LGA chairmen all in attendance. He said the meeting was to looking to what happened at the elections and how to forge ahead. He reminded them all that the LGA elections was a very successful outing for a party that that was barely six months in the making, he applauded the members for the good showing by the members, reminding them that the PDP had the President, Minister, and Members of the House of Assembly, while the APC only had His Excellency the Governor, yet we banded together to win more elections than a 15 year old PDP, saying it was a great beginning. The also said based on the number of votes cast if this had been the gubernatorial election APC won with a very large margin as the numbers were there for all to see, the four plus four (4+4) was by God’s grace is assured. He commented on the story in the newspaper which the National PDP Chairman said PDP won the Elections in Nasarawa so they should all come back to PDP, he expressed shock at how going by the results at hand 4 was greater and 6, he said this was the attitude of the PDP as they did in the Governors Forum Election where 16 was greater than 19. Lastly he said that all that they should clear their doubts APC is firmly rooted in Nasarawa State and here to stay. He called on all members to rest assured that the party was still waxing strong and show their support, he described the meeting/ gathering as advancement in politics where as a family issues would be discussed and resolved.
