APOSTOLIC PASTORS Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions. (2 Timothy 4:2, 3 ESV) Pastors Are we preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to reprove, rebuke and exhort with complete patience and teaching or are we teaching or preaching to suit what the itchy ears wants to hear to suit their own passion? There are a lot of preachers and teachers out there who are preaching and teaching false gospel to suit human desires or passions instead of preaching the true gospel which causes revival of the soul, the renewal of the mind and conviction of sin to repent. Some of these teachers or preachers are not only preaching or teaching to suit the passions of the people but also they are using it as a tool to accumulate wealth for themselves. It is not the diluted gospel that will bring prosperity, peace, joy and transformation to your life but it is the undiluted gospel which is pure i.e. reproves, rebuke and exhort is what will make you upright in The Lord’s sight to be blessed.
