ARARAT: A huge announcement in Ararat this morning by Premier Denis Napthine that a re-elected Nationals-Liberal Coalition Government will introduce a fourth weekly V/Line train service between Southern Cross, Beaufort and Ararat. The train will leave early in the morning and arrive in the City at 8.06am - in time for early meetings, festivals and sporting events. It will also help bring more Melbourne tourists to our beautiful region! I was very happy to be on the platform this morning with the Premier to hear the announcement being made. And stay tuned - there is more good news coming for Maryborough train passengers coming shortly!
