ARE YOU A SECULARIST? Then please answer these questions for yourself ! My FB friend Mr Dimppy Ramdayal has posted this highly objectionable post which I couldnt resist from responding. Its a long list of false and baseless accusations with a tagline which says its his observations and has no political background. I doubt because the timing of his venomous post says it all and all the lies in his Post will become FACTS if this is not answered with correct facts point by point... So here is my humble response. I respect Mr Ramdayal for what he and his father did for our industry and my response is just to clear the Muslim stand and not to show disrespect to Mr Dimppy Ramdayal. Q1... There are nearly 52 Muslim countries. Show one Muslim country where Hindus are extended the special rights that Muslims are accorded as in India? A... Yes I am proud that there are so many Muslim countries and there will be more. But there are no Hindus in most of these countries except a few. And Hindus in Muslim countries live with peace and harmony and enjoy same freedom thats allowed to any foreigners there. Hindus in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh enjoy great freedom which is not even given to some Muslim sects. L Then please answer these questions for yourself ! et me also tell u that there are a sizeable chunk of Hindus and Sikhs in Afghanistan and they enjoy peaceful lifestyle in this war torn nation. They dont even speak Hindi but enjoy full freeform. Also let me remind u that Saddam Husain of Iraq extended peaceful living of Hindus and Sikhs during his tenure. There are so many Hindus in Dubai, UAE, Oman, Kuwait and many other Muslim countries and they live in peaceful atmosphere. Q2... Show one country where the 85% majority craves for the indulgence of the 15% minority. A... Sir, I agree that as per last censes Muslims are about 15% of total Indian population but rest 85% are not Hindu. There are Christians, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhist, Parsi, Bahai, along-with sizeable chunk of nonbelievers or atheist and many other small local groups and Tribals out of the Hindu fold. U will be shocked to see that actually Hindus are much less in numbers Sir, if we get the correct database. Its a myth that all are Hindus while they pursue different faith and practice but are counted as Hindus for reasons better known to u and all. Q3... Show one Muslim country, which has a Non-Muslim as its President or Prime Minister. A... The question is baseless and is aimed to incite emotions. Tell me the Muslim country where Hindus are in that size to lead the county? Q4... Show one Mullah or Maulvi who has declared a fatwa against terrorists. A... There are countless Fatwas from the Ulemas of India and many other countries saying Terror of any sort if Un-Islamic and Haraam. But u have not seen or heard any because its not in sync with what u want to convey. But Sir, can u tell me any such announcement by a Hindu seer condemning the similar acts of Terror by Saffron groups like Col Purohit and Sadhvi Pragya etc. Q5... Hindu-majority Maharashtra, Bihar, Kerala, Pondicherry , etc. have in the past elected Muslims as CM’s.. Can you ever imagine a Hindu becoming the CM of Muslim - majority J&K? A... Do u want to say Sir that the Hindu majority of Maharashtra, Bihar, Kerala and Pondicherry did a favor on Muslim minorities by choosing a Muslim as CM? Then what about the constitution of India that allows same rights to every citizen without prejudice? My question is that in 60 years of freedom why no Muslim is not made a CM of UP, Bengal, Rajasthan, Andhra or more such states where Muslims are in good numbers. As for as Kashmir is concerned, there have been Hindu Deputy CM there for most time and the constitution doesnt stops a Hindu not to be a CM. Hope one day we will see it. Q6... In 1947, when India was partitioned, the Hindu population in Pakistan was about 24% ….Today it is not even 1%. In 1947, the Hindu population in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) was 30% …. Today it is about 7%. What happened to the missing Hindus? Do Hindus have human rights? A... I dont agree to this and I have great doubts on the figures mentioned above. I have personally seen and met Pakistani Hindus. They are a Happy and contended lot. In Sindhi province most of the Hindus are Money lenders and Muslims their borrowers. Some migration for Greener prospects must have been but its not limited to Hindus, Muslims in great numbers have also been migrating from Pakistan. As for Human Rights, no Hindus dont have it but its the same for Muslims as well. Shia Muslims are slaughtered in Pakistan on daily basis. But have u ever heard of any Hindus death in any Terror attack in Pakistan. No. They only target Muslims. The problem there if on human grounds and has no Hindu bias. Plz correct Sir. Q7...** In contrast, in India, Muslim population has gone up from 10.4% in 1951 to about 14% today; … whereas Hindu population has come down from 87.2% in 1951 to 85%in 1991. A... I beg to differ again and would dare questioning or source of getting this data. In fact the percentage of Muslim population had decreased as per the last census. Plz check or figures and dont put the data of 1999 only to prove a false pont. Instead, use data from current census and plz dont spread hatred between fellow citizens. Q8... Do you still think that Hindus are fundamentalists? A... Yes there ate fundamentalist amongst Hindus as well as Muslims. You clearly appears as one. But at large I have always believed and respected Hindus for their balance attitude and their tolerance. There are good and bad and worst elements in every community Sir. Plz dont say that You are holier than Thau, and I am the only sinner. Q9... In India today Hindus are 85%. If Hindus are intolerant, how come Masjids and Madrasas are thriving? A... No one says that all Hindus are intolerant but some really are. Also please stop this attitude that Muslims are living on mercy here. The constitution allows every citizen equal right to live and to follow their religion. Every Masjid, Mandir, Ashram, Dargah, Madrasa, Church, Gurudwara etc built anywhere in India is just and rightful in its existences and u Sir or no one has any right to raise a question in it or to pretend that its due to your tolerance or favor. Q10... How come Muslims are offering Namaz on the road? How come Muslims are proclaiming 5 times a day on loud speakers that there is no God except Allah? A... Personally I am against any public display of any religion. If Muslims offer Namaz on road, its for 10/15 minutes at max. What would u say about the Hindu or other religious processions that block roads for days and weeks and the cities literally comes to halt. Plz dont raise such issues as we will not reach anywhere by talking about such matters. Q11... ** When Hindus gave to Muslims 30% of Bharat for a song, why should. Hindus now beg for their sacred places at Ayodhya, Mathura and Kashi? A... The partition was unfortunate and I am of the view that it should have been avoided. But please read history and u will find that the India that u r talking was intact never there. Also no one has right to blame or question my generation for dividing India but the Mosques at Ayodhya, Kashi, Mathura and all other places belongs to my generation and no one again has any right to take my places of worship from my generation. Q12... Why Gandhiji objected to the decision of the cabinet and insisted that Somnath Temple should be reconstructed out of public fund, not government funds. When in January 1948 he pressurized Nehru and Patel to carry on renovation of the Mosques of Delhi at government expenses? A... Mr MK Gandhi, please reply Sir. Q13...** Why Gandhi supported Khilafat Movement (nothing to do with our freedom movement) and what in turn did he get? A... Its a long matter and will take pages if I start replying. In short, Gandhi Jis move was political to broaden his base and get unconditional Muslim support in return. He saw this as a great political move against the British might and support of Muslims. What point u want to prove here by raising it??? Q14... If Muslims & Christians are minorities in Maharashtra, UP, Bihar etc., are Hindus not minorities in J&K, Mizoram, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya etc? Why are Hindus denied minority rights in these states? A... Agreed... They should get. Q15... When Haj pilgrims are given subsidy, why Hindu pilgrims to Amarnath, Sabarimalai & Kailash Mansarovar are taxed? A... Dear Sir, please ask the central government to declare how much subsidy Vern given for Haj? As per my information its ZERO. Intact the government earn a lot from Haj Pilgrimage. The only thing the government offer is a Cheaper Haj Trip through the State controlled Haj Committees because they book flights and hotels in bulk and pass this discount to the pilgrims. Please be informed that the Government gives nothing to any Muslim for his Haj Trip and no Muslim want any help from any government for their Haj Pilgrimage. The matter of taxing Hindus for pilgrimage is wrong and should stop. Over to concern authorities. Q16... When Christian and Muslim schools can teach Bible and Quran. Why Hindus cannot teach Gita or Ramayan in our schools? A... The teaching of Holy Bible and Holy Quran is limited to the religious institutions run by Muslims and Christians while the several lessons from the Ramayana and Geeta have always been in the syllabus and have been taught in almost every state. No Muslim ever raised this issue as we also feel that Lord Ram and Lord Krishna belongs to us all and are not limited to Hindus only. Also, I must say here that I am proud to be from the family of Late Dr Rahi Masoom Raza, who wrote the Mahabharata and gave immortal terms like Taat Shree, Pita Shree, Mata Shree etc to the Hindu Samaj. Plz check and let me know if anyone can find the usage of these terms before the Mahabharata serial. Q17... -Do you admit that Hindus do have problems that need to be recognized? Or do you think that those who call themselves Hindus are themselves The problem? A... Mr Dimppy Ramdayal should reply this question as I cant say anything on this topic. Q18... Why post -Godhra is blown out of proportion, when no-one talks of the ethnic cleansing of 4 lakh Hindus from Kashmir? A... Unfortunate to see that you are comparing GUJRAT with Kashmir. Both ate unfortunate and shouldnt have happen but dont u agree Sir that loss of life is much bigger than loosing our home. Q19... Why Temple funds are spent for the welfare of Muslims and Christians, when they are free to spend their money in any way they like? A... I didnt get this. Which fund ur talking about and who is and why spending the Temple money on Muslims and Christians. Q20... When uniform is made compulsory for school children, why there is no Uniform Civil Code for citizens. A... Late Mr Indrajit Gupta and replied this when in his parliamentary speech when Mr Vajpeis 13 day long government fell down. There can not be a common civil code in India due to its diversity and regional demands. Its not only Muslims, some one should try to convince all others first and if everyone agrees Muslims will Join the bus bus as well. But note it, it will never happen. Q21... In what way, J&K is different from Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu or Uttar Pradesh, to have Article 370? A... Why only Kashmir is singled out when many other states also enjoy special status. Why no one raise the matter of Goa and North Eastern states? They also enjoy special status. But its only Kashmir because it has Muslim majority which should be broken by putting others in Kashmir. Why Sir? Let them live there. Q22... Abdul Rehman Antuley was made a trustee of the famous Siddhi Vinayak. Temple in Prabhadevi, Mumbai ….Can a Hindu say Mulayam or Laloo – ever become a trustee of a Masjid or Madrasa. A... What a mean question. But unfortunately the answer is YES Sir, while u were expecting a NO. Let me tell u that the first mosque built anywhere on earth except the Holy Cities of Makka and Madina was in Kerala, India. And I am proud to share this Sir that this mosque had a Hindu as its Trustee. Also forget about being a mere trustee, Lucknow my city is full of Masjid made by Hindus and Mandir made by Muslims. And that is the beauty of this great country. In the end u have said that.... This is not prepared by/for any political party/fanatic group … these are the observations and facts. .... So my response is also my own thoughts and has no political color. Its straight from my heart as I was deeply hurt after seeing our post and felt this as my Duty to respond as a peace loving, level headed Indian. Hope I have not hurt or emotions or beliefs. Let India be a peaceful and harmonious country like it has always been. Jai HIND ...... Jai BHATAT ......
