Each year a number of empty student flats are targeted by burglars. We dont want that to be you! If youre a student leaving town over the summer, some great ideas to protect your property include: removing anything of value from your flat, marking your valuable items with an invisible pen and making a note of serial numbers, asking your landlord to check your flat while youre away, and ensuring that your window and door locks are secure and well-maintained.
