ARE YOU KIDDING ME....thought I was going to sleep in this morning, when she woke me up and said grannymonkey there is a snake in the house. yea, you got it I was wide awake and jumped up ....so what did I do, you ask....well of course I blocked off the bathroom hallway and then I went and got the neighbor , thats right, 80yo mr don with his cane came to the rescue....hey that cane worked good to stop the snake and then he used a BIG hammer I have to smash it. we then put it in a plastic bag for david to tell us what kind it is when he gets here....I would love to tell you that it was 6ft long wit h big scary fangs....but once it was in a gallon ziplock (all the while I was standing on a chair) it was only about 18 - 24 inches long and I am going to say it is a coral snake cuz she kept saying it was like a butterfly and it hissed at her....bet she will wake up when she goes to the bathroom in the morning from now on as she woke me up last year and said there was a rat in the house....(good thing she gets up and uses the bathroom first lol)...any ways it is safe to say that I have bathroom phobia now...we are cleaning now and very cautious...do they travel in packs?????
