NAME: Kelly K. Obrien (F-47) ADDRESS: 45 W. Broad St., Bridgeton, NJ CHARGES: Defiant Trespassing (1) BAIL: ROR *Suspected was arrested and charged on scene with above charge after being observed by officers at the Riverfront after previously being banned from the area. Suspect was also issued a summons for drinking in public before she was transported to her residence. DATE/TIME: 5-19-2014 2042 hrs. NAME: Nathaniel Oglesby (M-33) ADDRESS: 70 East Ave., Bridgeton, NJ CHARGES: Hindering Apprehension (1); Obstruction (1); Resisting Arrest (1) BAIL: ROR – Inspira Medical Center *Suspect was spotted by police in the Bridgeton Villas Apt. complex, provided a false identification to police upon their inquiry and then fled on foot during the stop but was apprehended a short distance from the location. Subject reportedly swallowed an unknown substance and was transported to Inspira Medical Center in Vineland for treatment. Investigation to continue. OTHER: Fire (Residential) 5-20-2014 0314 hrs. 100 Block of S. Giles St. *Police, fire and rescue personnel were called to the 100 block of S. Giles St. at approximately 3:14 AM for a residential fire. The structure, a duplex, was involved upon police arrival. According to police, the five occupants of the half where the fire originated had been alerted and escaped, however responding officers had to make entry into the adjacent half and waken four occupants in that residence and escort them to safety. The residence sustained substantial damage as a result of the fire that investigators say started when a resident left a candle burning in a bedroom and fell asleep. Police Capt. Michael Gaimari commended the efforts of the officers who arrived to assist the occupants to safety while the residence was engulfed namely Ptlm. Ed. Connolly, James Riley and Roger Worley. No injuries were reported. Burglary (Vehicle) 5-19-2014 0831 hrs. 200 Block of Fayette St. *Unknown actor opened a tool box attached to the victim’s 1990 Ford truck and removed tools valued at approximately $500 including a Dewalt sawzall and drill and a Milwaukee power saw.
