ARSENAL PLAYED CHAMPIONS LEAGUE THIS SEASON BECAUSE OF CHELSEA. #lolWenger :P If Chelsea did not win UCL and Europa in past 2 seasons, then England would have had only 3 teams to play in CL and the 4th CL spot would have been taken by Germany because of the failure of English Clubs in Europe. Germany (who have only 3 teams competing in the CL) would have moved ahead of England in UEFA Coefficient Rankings, and would have snatched the 4th spot qualification from England. The team which finished fourth in the league and got the 4th CL spot was Arsenal.
