AS LITTLE LESS THAN ADEQUATE................................ Twice a year we take a day and say thanks to our Veterans. Today and Memorial Day. 2 days out of 365. While our Veterans are homeless, wait months to be seen at a Veterans Administration Hospital, are not given decent medical even when seen. Our Military and the veterans who serve see their benefits eroded under each succeeding President regardless of party while the cradle to grave welfare get more and more. Those returning home find their homes repossessed and their jobs gone forever. We argue whether a minimum wage worker should get more than a Private soldier. Minimum wage could be 20.00 an hour and that conversation still should never come up. We grossly underpay our Military. Then send them off to die for Corporate Profit. As an honorably discharged Veteran I want to feel pride and thanks those two days when American say thank you. I know you mean it.
