ASSAM CRICKET ASSOCIATIONS PRESS RELEASE : GUWAHATI, 24th January 2015 : Assam Cricket Association feels pleasure to announce cash award of Rs. 25,000/- to Shri Sarupam Purkayastha, who has created record of taking consecutive 5 wicket haul in the ongoing Ranji Trophy season. For his brilliant performance Assam today defeated Goa by 10 wickets and collected bonus point. Shri Tarjinder Singh scored unbeaten century in the 1st innings of the match which was held at Porvorim, Goa. Therefore Assam Cricket Association announced cash award of Rs. 10,000/- to him.
