ASUU Strike will end soon... I close my eyes and suddenly, I am standing in front of a huge crowd of excited students in an air-conditioned New Lecture Hall, Unique Uniport. It is a GES 100 class. Good morning, students, I murmur into a jacket-lapel microphone. Good morning, Mazi! replies a crowd of decently and smartly dressed undergraduates. Now, lets kick-start our lecture on Grammar Skills with a warm-up exercise. I wake up: it is a dream! Hey, dont get it twisted; dream connotatively refers to a mental picture of an immediate and/or distant future reality. Yeah, it is a mental picture of my future, of your future, of our future. Im an incurable optimist: THIS ASUU STRIKE WILL BE CALLED OFF SOON, VERY SOON. My abiding passion is to inject you (the young and old alike) with a potent dose of hope. Keep hope alive!
