ATA is excited to announce that Alex Fernandez will be reuniting with our coaching staff! Alex has more than 20 years of coaching experience to all Allstar levels and ages. He has won 2 Worlds titles and is the first coach EVER to win the USASF worlds titles back to back!! Alex travels all over the United States doing choreography for multiple Allstar gyms, as well as other countries including Canada, Chile, and the Dominican Republic. He has coached at Encore cheer and dance (Doral, Miami), Gym Tech Outlaw Allstars (Alabama), ATL Allstars (Cumming, Georgia), and ACX Allstars (South Carolina). From 1994-1997 he coached and opened Miami Elite Allstars in 1995 where his teams won multiple state, national, and world titles. While Fernandez was coaching and running Miami Elite Allstars, he was able to attend/cheer for Miami Dade community college from 1996-1998. Miami Dade community college won the NCA national championships in 1997 and was a part of the opening ceremonies for the Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia.
