ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS, PARENTS AND COMMUNITY: After last weeks District tournament game our school received a very nice letter from Westlake Schools commending our students for their good behavior at the tournament. This week our basketball team will be competing in the Regional Tournament game at BGSU. It is policy at ALL tournament games that balloons, banners, noisemakers, signs are not permitted. Confetti or other similar items are also prohibited. Spectators MUST wear shirts at all OHSAA sponsored tournaments! You are asked to NOT stand on top of bleacher seats as this has caused considerable damage at tournament sites in the past. Our school may be assessed for damages if we are in violation. Noncompliance of these requests will result in delay of tournament play. Courtesy toward our opponents, respect for the host school’s property and also for the game officials, reflect true sportsmanship. We ask all Vermilion spectators to honor these policies to demonstrate we are a great school! Your cooperation will make for a better tournament.
