ATTENTION: Feelings may be hurt: I, Chris Brooks, do firmly believe this ALS ice bucket challenge is absurd. I dont care if this post offends people. But my viewpoint on the matter is such: Ninety percent of the people who have participated in the challenge had no clue what ALS was before the challenge; they accepted said challenge by avoiding an ACTUAL DONATION and instead opted to post a fun little video of their INDIFFERENCE towards ALS by dumping a random bucket of ice on their head and; moreover, most of them did not put forth the effort to figure out what ALS is AFTER said video. Lets recap: If this video was something along the lines of: Hey guys, I am challenging everyone to donate to the unfortunate cause of pick whichever cause affects you, personally, the most or simply dump a bucket of ice on your head and show your unsupport of said group, and then call out three of your best friends to do the same thing that I did! OH WAIT, THATS EXACTLY WHAT IT IS!!!! ....what sort of person does that make you? It makes you a follower. How about you send a donation to ALS, instead, because your video is merely a monkey see, monkey do piece of crap.
