ATTENTION MARINE MAMMAL, WILDLIFE AND ANIMAL PROTECTION GROUPS: Sell Death at SeaWorld Paperback at Public Events to Raise Funds and Awareness St. Martin’s Press/MacMillan Publishing is offering wholesale discounts to NGOs who would like to sell copies of the Death at SeaWorld paperback (list price: $16.99) at information tables and booths at a variety of events this summer and fall, as a fundraising tool - and as a way to educate the public about captivity. Already, several groups have expressed an interest in doing this. If you have a 501c3 and you open an account with the warehouse (very easy to do) you will not be charged sales tax. You can also put the order on a credit card, but that will include sales tax, no matter what your nonprofit status, just FYI. It is still possible to have paperbacks delivered by July 2, the first day of sales, if your group wants. I am not sure if there is a minimum, but I don’t think it would be very high. You can also bulk-order hardcover copies (list price: $26.99) but I imagine the paperback would be more popular.
