***ATTENTION Magic Prerelease players: Due to Wizards - TopicsExpress

***ATTENTION Magic Prerelease players: Due to Wizards questionable recent prerelease structure, we will be running all prereleases this weekend (and potentially in the future) in the following manner: - We will allocate equal amounts of each clan kit for each individual tournament (i.e. if 75 players, we will have 15 of each clan available) - When players register/check-in before the start of the tournament, we will hand them a card at random corresponding to a particular clan. - Players will be allowed to trade these clan cards with one another up until they are seated for the start of the tournament. (Say you picked Abzan randomly but wanted to play Sultai. You can find someone who picked Sultai and wants to play Abzan, or who hates Sultai, or who doesnt care what they play, and trade with them.) - After players are seated, we will exchange the clan cards we handed out earlier for the corresponding sealed prerelease kits. Players will then have a couple of minutes as a last chance to trade sealed kits with other players around them. - Deck construction time will start and we will begin the tournament. * Players who complete all rounds will receive the promotional Ugins Fate pack at the conclusion of the event. * Players who preregistered for at least five events will be allotted one of each different clan kit, and can pick whichever clan they want to play for each event. We are running the events this way for the following reasons: Its fair. Everyone has a chance to play the best clan or what is perceived to be the best clan. Logistically, it helps us pass out product easier at the start, and keep track of what we have remaining. It allows us to have all clans available for every event, not just end up with only Sultai kits on Sunday. Play-wise, it keeps it balanced for every event, not just 80 people playing Jeskai vs. Jeskai in the midnight event, and Sultai vs. Sultai on Sunday. It adds an element of chance. It lets people socialize, meet and trade with other people. Its fair. Any further questions, please dont hesitate to ask. We hope this is okay with all of our valued players and customers, but if anyone has any issues with the way these events are going to be run, we will be more than willing to refund your preregistration entry fees. Thank you very much for your continued support and patronage, and we look forward to having a fun prerelease weekend with all of you who manage to drop by!
