ATTENTION: SCAM ALERT I got a call a little while ago, of course a foreigner named Helena. She said that the US gov. wanted to give me a $8500 GRANT, because I paid my bills & had not filed for Bankruptcy. She confirmed my name. add., ph, age. Then she gave me 3 options on how I was to receive it. Bank Acct. (NO), western Union, and another that I did not recognize. Then she gave me a confirmation # & a phone # to call her supervisor to release the money. I told her I thought it was a scam several times, but she assured me it was not. The US GOV. gave these grants to 17000 people every year, didnt I want to have some extra cash to spend. Well when I got off the phone with her I got on here & guess what!! There is a page concerning this scam. You have to get a Green Dot card & put $250 or other various amts. on it to get your GRANT> DONT DO IT> Thank you & be CAREFUL. Merry Christmas
