Most phone companies will activate a legitimate phone in 15 minutes or less.. Just checking the #S doesnt always mean the said phone can be activated ..If you cant activate the phone before money changes hands my best advice is DO NOT BUY at that time and wait until you can have it activated and can go through the phone and make sure all works properly..
