ATTORNEY GENERAL DEFENDS ODOKI RE-APPOINTMENT ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Attorney General Peter Nyombi tells Parliament that it is within the Legal confines for the President to re-appoint the Chief Justice even when he has reached his retirement age. Nyombi, who was this evening appearing before the Parliamentary Legal Affairs Committee to Defend the Ministry Budgetary allocations for 2013/2014 was put to task by the MPs to explain Benjamin Odoki’s re-appointment.
