AUBREY is scared, but allowed petting. He lost brownie points on his behavioral exam because he stated inside his hidey box. This would be the norm for many cats in a scary environment like ACC! Poor AUBREY found a safe zone and once there, allowed petting. AUBREY in a home would be a very different cat. Many cats are afraid in new places and this is a place that cats sense is not a safe one. AUBREY will be killed tomorrow unless hes rescued or adopted, because hes one more cat on a crowded list. He might possibly be FIV+, as per ACCs vague notes, but this is a maybe and FIV+ cats are no different than other cats-most are gentle and the FIV+ virus is transmitted only via blood, not saliva or petting-many non FIV+ cats live with non FIV cats just fine. Please save AUBREYS life-hes probably lost in that place, and would be so grateful for a real lhome, with someone to love him and be kind to him. AUBREY probably hasnt had that in awhile-and this gentle soul deserves a family, dont you think? Dont let him be killed at noon tomorrow. Speak up for AUBREY now!
