*** AUDITION NOTICE *** Were still looking for a few good men, women and kids to round out our exquisite King & I cast. Auditions will take place on Tuesday, August 5th starting at 7:30pm to 9:30pm. Those interested in auditioning should prepare: 1. Two (2) contrasting Broadway or Broadway-style songs – please NO songs from The King and I, Webber, Sondheim, or pop songs. An accompanist will be provided; please bring a clean, clear copy of your sheet music in the correct key for the accompanist. No iPads or a cappella singing. Children should have one (1) prepared song with appropriate accompaniment, if they have one. If not, a familiar song such as O Canada will be used as an audition piece. 2. All people auditioning, excluding children, must participate in a group dance/movement audition. Please bring comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear, and plan to take some time to stretch.
