AUDITION NOTICE ZANE’S “THE OTHER SIDE OF THE PILLOW” A New play based on Author’s New Book Directed by Curtis King, Founder and President The Black Academy of Arts and Letters Synopsis Jemistry Daniels, a prominent high school principal seeks to find a solid male relationship and becomes discouraged to only find that man after man has disappointed her. She gives up and joins the party by adapting the “friends with benefits” mentality fearing that she might catch feeling. All goes as planned until she meets respected vascular surgeon Dr. Tevin Harris at a poetry slam who also has dealt with bad relationships and a failed marriage. Zane’s new romantic dramedy takes the audience on an emotional rollercoaster as both Jemistry and Tevin learn to open up, gain trust, tear down emotional barriers and ultimately allow themselves to love again.
