AUSTRALIA and New Zealand say they will work with the Fiji Government and continue to strengthen partnerships. Acting Australian High Commissioner Glen Miles said with Fiji back to parliamentary democracy, the Australian Government would align any forms of assistance to Government targets. As with any new government thats coming in, we will sit down and discuss with ministers and see where they need support and see that our program is lined up with the governments own agenda, Mr Miles said. So we will continue with the programs that weve got and look at other ways to move forward. He said Fijis inclusion in the expanded seasonal worker program was still being discussed in Canberra. But I can say that has nothing to do with the election, Fiji was always going to be part of expansion, he explained.fijitimes/story.aspx?id=282492
