AUTOMATIC WRITING and Automatic DRAWING Automatic writing / drawing is when Spirit directs your hand, takes control of your pen / pencil, and writes the words, or draws the pics for you. Spirit is in charge of your hand and the writing implement. VERBAL CHANNELING is when you hear the words, THEN say them or write them down. There is a big difference between automatic writing and verbal channeling. If you want to give AUTOMATIC WRITING a try, give Spirit notice you want to try it - 2 hours-1 days notice should be enough. You need to make an appointment with the spirit who will be helping you with this. So just STATE YOUR INTENTION to try this and do not forget the time you have said you will be doing it. Its very bad manners to not show up for an appointment! At said day and time, Ground and Protect self and your environment before you do anything else. Get a pen / pencil and paper, make sure your arm is comfortable whilst holding the pen / pencil, close your eyes, and ask spirit to write something for you. You may need to start moving the pen and then your spirit helper will take over. Dont be frightened when it starts to move by itself, if you have protected yourself you will be quite safe. You may need to repeat this exercize several times before you are able to get any results or read any of the words. It will take spirit time to get accustomed to you, your energy and possibly your stiff arm. The very first time I tried this I read the words God loves you - and because I was not into God n Christianity and was just at the beginnings of my spiritual / psychic development, I made the comment, yer, right, then screwed it up n thru it out. I have regretted it ever since as it was very rude of me and it was a genuine specimen of automatic writing. My spirit helper must have been mortified! If at first you dont succeed, try n try again! Some very interesting information has been gleamed from doing automatic writing. And many an artist writes, draws and paints in this way!
