AUTOTUNE - Okay Im going on a rant.... its not often I do this unless I feel very strongly about something. I get so tired of people (only a few but its still irritating) saying your music isnt quantized and your voice isnt autotuned?? Like its a sin to be REAL??? I am so sick of the industry thinking everything has to be perfect. I dont want perfect... I want REAL! REAL music, REAL vocals, REAL performance full of PASSION. I sing LIVE...recordings are not doctored so how you hear me on the radio and my mp3s is exactly how I sound LIVE. I AM PERFECTLY IMPERFECT. I dont want my performances so choreographed that I have to lip sync...people pay good money to hear me sing...Im not saying there wont be dancing...I like to shake my booty and Im plenty entertaining ;-) but I refuse to do these overproduced fake shows. On that note... check out this video I found of some major artists caught lip syncing and how they really sound. I really wish they would stop making stupid people and people with no talent famous!
