In the 12 months to August 2013, the Global Advantage Fund yielded 14.62 percent for dollar investors, the insurer claimed in an e-mailed statement. Global Advantage is a US-dollar equity fund, which serves as an alternative to bonds or managed funds, that has exposure to the NASDAQ 100 — the stock market index for 100 largest non-financial companies. “We want to give Filipino investors access to the global equities market,” said president and CEO Rien Hermans. “With the Global Access Fund, investors get exposure to the NASDAQ, the second largest stock exchange in the world,” he added.
